Welcome, Ashley Hichborn

Now in studio #4.

We at Art Up Front Street are so excited to be sharing our space with Ashley. We have known her throughout much of her art growth...and are looking forward to seeing how she continues to use her creative voice in our community.

A little about Ashley:

"I’ve been creating art professionally across New Hampshire for over ten years. I work in various mediums, including digital art, pen and ink, colored pencil, painting, multimedia design, and print making.

In addition to my art, I serve as the Graphic Design and Marketing Coordinator for Planned Parenthood of Northern New England. I believe art has the power to change minds. As both a professional graphic designer and a freelance artist, I use my creative skills to advocate for the causes I deeply care about.​"

"I am a graduate from Plymouth State University, where I designed my own major called Graphic Design for Promotional Communications: a combination of Design, Marketing and Communications, with a dual minor in Women's Studies and Studio Art. As a Graphic Designer I wish to use my art as an instrument to share knowledge and ideas. Art has the power to change minds. I hope to use my art to advocate for ideologies that I believe in."

Some of her themes include sea life, human figures, animals (especially cows - we think she loves cows :-) ), flowers, landscapes, LGBTQIA+ equity, and social justice causes just to name a small cross section of her body of work.
