See Our Newest Art at Spring Open Studios May 4+5!

(Rain or Shine)!

Spring is in the air and so is the excitement for our annual Spring Open Studios at Art Up Front Street Studios and Gallery in Exeter, NH.

Can you join us?

Art Up Front Street Studios & Gallery is more than just a studio space, it's Exeter's first artist studio collective located in Uptown Exeter near the railroad tracks. It's a community of artists sharing their work and process with the public. The gallery features resident artists Anne Marie Kenny, Rose Bryant, Ree Hall Katrak, Shannon Hays, and Gaby Grossman ...each with their own unique style and medium.

Two days of arty goodness

Saturday afternoon the delightful sounds of Fiske'n'Fell Clarinet Duo will fill the studios. Lite bites and bevs will be available for you to sip and enjoy while you refresh your heart with the vibrant happy color of paintings, prints, charming illustration, and assemblages.

Take a peek in each studio to see the latest art in the works.

Plus, there's an art process for all to enjoy. Last year the community painting process was such a treat for visitors that we are doing another project...hmmm... you'll just have to check it out for yourself May 4+5 to find out what it is. Let's just say this year's project is Yayoi Kusama inspired!

What you will find at the event...

Artists!

INDUSTRIAL QUILTS: Anne Marie Kenny works with recycled computer parts, natural fibers, copper patinas, wire and metal materials such as brass and copper mesh plus hardware cloth. A conversation about the history of some of the materials she uses is a must.

SHANNON HAYS DESIGN: Shannon Hays creates charming assemblages out of hand-textured papers into light-hearted child-themed illustrations and collage.

GABY GROSSMAN: Paints with a colorful loose brush stroke to create paintings, plus prints and cards.

REE HALL KATRAK: Ree Hall Katrak is a mixed media artist creating intuitive abstract paintings on canvas, paper, and wood panel. So many sizes of fluid color art work on which to feast your eyes.

ROSE BRYANT: Rose Bryant is an abstract painter of landscapes, flowers, and water imagery using bold saturated color.

Spring Open Studios offers a unique opportunity to meet the artists, see their work, and learn about their creative process. What better way to appreciate art?
