We are so excited to invite you to our next exhibit! Amy Tilton of Home Remedy Studios and Shannon Hays of Shannon Hays Design collaborate together for an especially "quiet" exhibit of uncomplicated design and charming soft colors.
Take a moment with us to enjoy the calm and simplicity depicted in their collections of pears, oysters, carrots, fruit, flowers, and tomatoes. So simple ...but loaded with Shannon's classic design style using hand textured papers in collage and accompanied by Amy's loose, soft, brush strokes in creamy small oil paintings.
Amy Tilton is an oil painter and educator. She was a public school art teacher for six years and now spends her days painting in her cozy space at Art Up Front Street. In the evenings you can find her teaching art classes at her home in Stratham - with the help of her rescue pup, Banksy.
Shannon Hays is a graphic designer and illustrator. She spends her days drawing cute characters and creating playful patterns. Her illustrations have been featured in many children’s books, as well as on fabric, greeting cards, wall art, stickers and scrapbooking papers. Shannon recently began experimenting with painted paper collages and gouache painting in her studio at Art Up Front Street.
